Image via WikipediaRecently Chappy and I drove to Phoenix, AZ to visit the Arizona Renaissance Festival. Saturday we were rained out half way through the day, leaving us on the prowl Sunday to fill the time during the inclement weather. We discovered a microbrew called the Four Peaks. Chappy ordered the flight of house brews on tap (sampler) and we made our personal notes. Following this endeavor we made our way back to Santan Microbrew and joined the first annual homebrewers get together. We toured Santan, won a book, and tasted great beer. Because of all this Chappy was inspired to try a red ale. So about four days ago, he brewed up a red ale and it is in the carboy now-- woohoo!
