The wind has kept us from our motorcycles, that and our Motorcycle association (CVMA) had their Run for the Texas Vets. It was a great success and now we (Chappy and I) look forward to the end of the windy season so we can get back on the bikes regularly.
Chappy moved the Red Ale he made for me (a kit experiment that turned out well) from the keg because he wasn't going to drink it-- not hoppy enough for him. So my red ale is bottled and he has an IPA (Indian Pale ale) fermenting now.
I still haven't started a new meade, though, I did start an espresso liqueur. As a matter of fact, it is well past time for me to sample this ware! I LOVE the espresso liqueurs I make. I made a plum liqueur that was good too, but I prefer the espresso. More experiments to come.
